Stop Oklahoma From Becoming Wokelahoma!
A wealthy liberal activist is trying to turn Oklahoma into Wokelahoma. The Kirkpatrick Foundation and Kirkpatrick Family Fund, based in Oklahoma City, are known historically for supporting the city’s arts. But helmed by liberal Christian Keesee, the Kirkpatrick name now funnels money into left-wing groups, including those that attack farmers and ranchers.
Funding Anti-Farmer Extremists
Under Keesee, the Kirkpatrick name has supported animal rights groups that attack farmers and ranchers.
The Kirkpatrick Foundation funded The Accountability Board, whose president is a former PETA extremist who has compared farmers to Nazis. He created the “Holocaust on Your Plate” campaign comparing farms to concentration camps.
Another organization funded by the Foundation is Mercy for Animals. Mercy for Animals is a radical vegan organization whose leaders describe themselves as “abolitionists” in regards to eating meat and raising livestock.
The Kirkpatrick Foundation has also directed $400,000 to the Humane Society of the United States, another anti-meat group, and $350,000 to the Center for a Humane Economy. The latter group’s president is an animal rights fanatic accused of sexual harassment.

Funding Other “Woke” Groups
The Kirkpatrick Foundation and the Kirkpatrick Family Fund have funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars into other radical left-wing groups.
The Kirkpatrick Family Fund has sent $400,000 to abortion provider Planned Parenthood. The Kirkpatrick Foundation also donated $350,000 to the League of Women Voters (LWV). The LWV is a woke organization that supports men playing in women’s sports and opposed the bipartisan Laken Riley Act, which helps deport violent illegal criminals.
The Kirkpatrick Foundation also grants money to radical environmental and anti-farmer organizations. The Foundation gives grant money to The Center for Democratic and Environmental Rights, an organization that supports the radical “rights of nature” agenda. “Rights of nature” laws would give environmental features the legal standing to sue people or organizations. In effect, radical environmentalists would be able to sue people on the behalf of a stream for violating the stream’s “rights.”

The Woke Chairman
Christian Keesee is the chairman of the Kirkpatrick Foundation and president of the Kirkpatrick Family Fund. Although both groups are based in Oklahoma, Keesee spends much of his time in New York City. Keesee is the grandson of John Elson Kirkpatrick, a successful oilman who started the Kirkpatrick Foundation in 1955.
Keesee has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats, including donations to Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama. He made a $200,000 donation in 2024 to FF PAC, the Democrat party’s largest Political Action Committee.

Keesee said he was “very happy” when Joe Biden won the 2020 election, and insulted First Lady Melania Trump in a social media post.
In another post, Keesee praised Bishop Mariann Budde, who delivered a woke, pro-illegal immigrant sermon to the Trump Family shortly after the inauguration.
